I'm away on the 9th grade retreat, but enjoy teaching the sub about bananagrams! Here is today's agenda: 1) Roll; 2) Bananagrams: Remember the rules--no proper nouns, no acronyms, no abbreviations. Winning team (this means first complete AND all correct words) gets Starburst; 3) Root tree activity: use the handouts to guide you through this activity; 4) Write a short, handwritten proposal about what topic you intend to discuss in your photo-essay and place in the appropriate pink tray (see the attachment below for guidelines). Reminders: *Proposal due TODAY *Critical Response #1 is due FRIDAY *3-ring binders are due FRIDAY
